By accessing or using InvoiceBirds ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.
InvoiceBirds is a web-based invoicing and financial management platform that allows you to create invoices, estimates, proposals, and contracts; accept online payments via Stripe; track expenses; manage clients; and generate financial reports. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with Free, Professional, and Growth plans.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may be updated with prior notice. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
You agree to use InvoiceBirds only for lawful business purposes. You must not:
You retain ownership of all data you enter into InvoiceBirds, including invoices, client information, financial records, and documents. We do not claim ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the Service. You can export or delete your data at any time.
If you use InvoiceBirds to accept payments from your clients via Stripe, you must comply with Stripe's terms of service and applicable payment regulations. InvoiceBirds facilitates the connection to Stripe but is not responsible for payment processing failures, chargebacks, or disputes between you and your clients or Stripe.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our control, including internet outages, third-party service failures, or force majeure events.
InvoiceBirds is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The InvoiceBirds name, logo, software, and all associated intellectual property are owned by InvoiceBirds. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our platform or branding without written permission.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after account closure, after which it will be permanently deleted unless required by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
